1. First on my list are these abdorable Christmas baby booties from Jo to the World. This may be top of the list because i’m feeling super broody lol - baby bump could arrive any day now! Regardless of whether or not you have a wee cutie to wear these booties they are a fabulous make, and could easily be repurposed as a decoration for your tree, or a candy cane holder.

2. Next up is this lovely Christmas stocking pattern from Green Fox Farm Designs. This pattern not only looks good, but comes in three handy sizes to suit all of your Christmas needs. I particularly like the option with the white top cuff. Now you can tailor your stocking size to how many stocking fillers you have purchased lol.

3. Looking for something a little smaller? Take a look at these cute Christmas tree baubles from Thoresby Cottage. Due to their small size this is a perfect project for scrap-busting and can easily be embellished to make it truly unique. Who doesn’t love adding a bit of sparkle!

4. Every fancied trying your hand at mosaic crochet? This small Christmas tree coaster crochet pattern, from My Crochet Space, would be perfect for dipping your toe in the water. Want to know what the best part is? There are no ends to weave in! Instead you get to make a cute little fringe to finish off your project. There is also no need to change colour mid-row. What’s not to love?

5. Want something that just screams fun? Take a look at this crochet pattern for a mini wind spinner Christmas tree ornament by Tuula Maaria. This design is very beginner friendly and includes a video tutorial too! My daughter would love having a go at one of these :)

6. Following on in the Christmas tree decoration vein, here is another pretty crocheted Christmas decoration from Green Fox Farm Designs - a Christmas-themed garland. This would look gorgeous on your tree, hung over your mantle, or winding up your stair bannister. Who doesn’t love a tiny gonk?!

7. Here is another teeny make that will add a touch of festive-feeling to your home - a tiny crocheted Santa sack :) This pattern from Hooked on Patterns would be ideal for holding your stash of chocolate coins, truffles or sweets. It you add the tie string you could also cinch up the top and pop one inside your kid’s Christmas stocking.

8. Here is a cute pattern from Hooked on Patterns - a Christmas reindeer bauble. This bauble would be fairly quick to make and includes extensive instructions for each section. Wouldn’t this cute little Rudolf look at home on your tree this year?

9. I couldn’t not include another gonk-themed pattern! I do love a good Christmas gonk :) Here is a crochet pattern for a bottle topper from Malloo. Isn’t it cute! It’s small enough to make from whatever you have in your stash already (bonus points!), so why not give it a go.

10. If you fancied having a go at mosaic crochet, but didn’t like the Christmas tree coaster earlier, check out this snowflake coaster from My Crochet Space. This pattern has the same benefits of there being no ends to weave in and no need to change colour mid-row, and is well suited to any Frozen fans in the audience lol.

11. It wouldn’t be a Christmas-themed round-up without a Christmas tree ornament :) Cast your eyes at this adorable mini Christmas-tree from Malloo. I would totally do my ‘embellishment’ using glittery yarn, or glue on some tiny bells as baubles!

12. Finally, for those of you who fancy a little more of a challenge, isn’t this reindeer dishcloth from Raffamusa Designs amazing! This pattern is quick, festive and practical :) It is a corner-to-corner (C2C) design, and if you use thicker yarn would be perfect to make into a cushion or blanket instead.

So, I hope that you’ve spotted one or two patterns that inspire that festive feeling for you, and that you’ll have time to make this Christmas! I’m particularly tempted by the baby booties (I blame the pregnancy hormones) and the Christmas wind spinner (because my girls would love them). Wish me luck in finding a spare moment before bump arrives to give them a go lol.

Enjoy :)
