Project Slow Crochet Christmas Jumper - Patterns

Sooo… confession time 😬. As a crocheter, I've never actually made a jumper for myself. I've made countless jumpers and cardigans for my kids, and the smalls of my friends and family, but never one for me. However, as someone who learns best by doing, I've decided to jump right in anyway and crochet my very first jumper for myself - a Christmas jumper.

As excited as I am, I'm also a little apprehensive. The thought of getting the perfect fit and making sure everything looks just right is daunting. When crocheting jumpers for my kids I’ve always been a bit ‘well I’ll make it and they can always grow into it,’ or ‘if it’s too small I can give it to her little sister’ (I have three girls), but I know that with your help, we can learn together and both create something truly special.

I plan to use this blog (and my video blog) to share my journey with you and ask for your tips and advice along the way, when I inevitably get stuck lol. If you've crocheted a jumper before (Christmas or otherwise), please share your wisdom with me! If you've made mistakes, please tell me all about them so I can learn from them too.

Let's embrace the process together, enjoy the journey, and create something that we can be proud of. Whether you're a seasoned crocheter or just starting out, I hope that you'll join me on this adventure.

That's why I wanted to feature a variety of patterns that are accessible to everyone, regardless of their experience level or time commitment.

Please note, I have gained consent from each of the designers featured below to use their photos. Simply click on the pattern that you love for more information.
